I didn't start photography because I couldn't write. I started because I have a really bad memory . In my case, photos work better than words. I still shoot film. For me, nothing beats a negative. I like to think of my photos as a record of our time. They are like small pieces of this rumbling world. I'm collecting these pieces to write a memorable story about it. I think most of my inspiration comes stills. Like it was the scene of a movie. |
